The Endoview project is developing software tools and novel sensors to improve the quality of endoscopy procedures.

The main parts of the project are:

Human Perception studies

we are studying where endoscopists are looking and what they are doing with their hands while performing endoscopy.  We aim to understand the physical and perceptual challenges in endoscopy and use this information to improve the images presented to Doctors and help with training new endoscopists.

Procedure quality measures

working closely with our clinical partners we have developed a system to automatically score the quality of an endoscopy procedure.

Image quality improvements

we have developed image processing techniques to improve the quality of images.
